… program is designed to make a positive impact on children's health, the sustainability of our planet, and the ease of use of washable diapers while ensuring the highest hygiene standard at daycare centers and hospitals. Many parents wish to make conscious choices, such as using washable diapers, but this can be challenging if their environment is not set up for and-, or supportive of this. Often, children are brought to daycare with a washable diaper but return home in a disposable one. This indicates that the environment isn’t fully supportive yet, presenting an opportunity for improvement. We also noticed a willingness and openness at daycares and hospitals to make the transition but lacking a good product, workflow and service offering designed for professional caretakers that address their needs.

With the Goed Luieren program, Billie Wonder addresses this gap by offering a full circle solution in the form of specially designed products, workflow and wash service offering that can be implemented at scale, with minimal disruption to daily operations. By collaborating with forward-thinking organizations like Partou, we’re not only making daycare centers and hospitals leaders in sustainability but also creating an ecosystem where sustainable habits are encouraged both at home and in care settings. For parents, this means their children will use high-quality, environmentally friendly diapers during their time at Partou, without the need for extra effort on their part. It’s a seamless transition towards a greener future, making it easier for parents to maintain their commitment to sustainability while Partou reduces their CO2 footprint, waste production and financial costs.

Frequently Asked Questions

+What is the difference between the washable diaper for consumers and the one for Partou?

The washable diapers that are used at Partou location are specially designed for professional childcare use.

The consumer diaper is made to last from birth to potty training. This means that the diaper needs to be adjusted to size at every change, and the absorption of the diaper needs to be adjusted as time goes by. For younger children, the absorption capacity is very high, while for older children, the absorption is not always sufficient, causing leaks. The diapers Partou will use, consist of five different sizes of washable diapers, based on the sizes of disposable diapers as you already know them (2-6). This firstly saves a lot of buttons (and thus work), but also makes the diaper much more suitable for the size and required absorption of the child.

Another difference with the diapers used by parents, is that parents might not wash the diapers properly, which can result in poor absorption (or unpleasant odors). The used diapers at Partou locations will be cleaned by a professional, industrial laundry service working at the highest, lawfully required standards to ensure this won't happen and hygiene and safety are taken care off.

+Do parents have to switch to washable diapers at home as well?

No, parent don't need to switch to washable diapers at home. Partou takes care of everything during the daycare hours. Childeren will be dropped off as parents are used to doing, with a disposable diaper or washable diaper from home, and Partou ensures that each child wears fresh and clean Billie Wonder washable diapers throughout the day. When picking up, the child have a clean disposable diaper (or washable diaper from home) on.

If parents are interested in using Billie Wonder diapers at home, you can give them a discount flyer to purchase the special Billie Wonder Partou Kit.

+Washable diapers sound dirty and old fashioned to me. What does the Billie Wonder diaper consist of and how does it prevent me from getting dirty hands?

The new generation of washable diapers are very different from what your (grand) parents grew up with. The Billie Wonder diapers, and especially the diapers designed for use by professionals like you, are very different.

The new generation of washable diapers consist of three parts:

1. A repellent layer: This is the outer layer of the diaper. This layer is water-repellent, preventing stool and urine from leaking through the diaper.

2. The absorbent layer: This is the layer that absorbs urine (and any moisture from stool).

3. The liner: The diapers have a thin liner. This liner catches stool (poo). When a child has defecated, the liner can be thrown in the trash, so the diaper doesn't need to go into the washing machine with stool on it.

+What materials are used in the diapers and can they cause skin irritation?
The diapers from Billie Wonder are made of natural, breathable materials such as hemp and organic cotton. These materials are gentle on the skin and contain no harmful chemicals and prevent direct skin contact with plastics. This makes them ideal for babies' sensitive skin, and they reduce the chance of skin irritation or diaper rash compared to disposable diapers.
